Privacy policy
Effective date: September 7, 2026
Overview
Jiu-Jitsu4life Inc. operates the Caique Jiu Jitsu video library by Thomaz Elias. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, when it may be disclosed, and the choices available to you when you use the website and subscription service.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, account identifier, authentication details, and account status.
- Subscription information: your Stripe customer identifier, subscription status, billing dates, and transaction information. Stripe processes your payment-card details; we do not store your complete card number.
- Library activity: saved videos, curriculum progress, video-view history, and technique requests you submit.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, authentication sessions, cookies or similar technologies, and diagnostic or security logs.
- Communications: messages and support requests you send to us.
How we collect information
We collect information directly from you when you create an account, subscribe, contact us, save a video, track your progress, or submit a technique request. We also collect limited technical information automatically when you use the website. Our service providers send us information needed to operate accounts, payments, video delivery, hosting, security, and analytics.
How we use information
- Create and secure your account.
- Process and manage your subscription.
- Provide video access and personalized library features.
- Respond to questions and technique requests.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the service.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory duties.
Service providers and disclosures
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect our rights, complete a business transaction, or comply with law. Our primary service providers include Supabase for accounts and database services, Stripe for payments, Vimeo for video hosting and playback, and Vercel for website hosting. These providers may process information under their own privacy terms.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets.
Sale and targeted advertising
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by applicable law.
Cookies and online tracking
The website and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, prevent fraud, deliver video, and understand website performance. Browser settings may let you restrict these technologies, but doing so may prevent account or video features from working correctly.
Because there is no universally accepted standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, the website does not currently respond to those signals. We will honor legally required browser-based privacy signals, such as Global Privacy Control, when they apply to our practices.
Retention
We retain information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.
Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information. You may also ask questions about how your information is used. To submit a request, email caiquevideolibrary@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained when legally required or needed for legitimate business purposes.
Children’s privacy
The subscription service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No online service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. We will provide additional notice when required.
